This included having the proper travel documents including valid passports, tourist visas or proper paperwork connected with any current or future possible pandemics. Since many travel advisories change daily, it is travelers personal responsibility to ensure they keep themselves updated in regards to any changes and not the responsibility of Select Holidays.

Insurance:

We strongly suggest passengers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against medical emergencies, cancellations due to illness, against damage to baggage, loss of personal items and/or trip interruption. Insurance is available from Select Holidays and MUST be obtained at time of first deposit. Select Holidays is not responsible for any traveler that does not meet the requirements put in place by the insurance companies or those travelers who do not purchase proper travel coverage. In all cases, Select Holidays is not responsible if client does not have or take the proper travel insurance coverage or have an insurable claim.

It is important to bring your travel insurance policy with you. It is also a good idea to leave a copy with a loved one, in case of need of assistance for an emergency claim. In the event of an insurance claim must be opened, it is the traveler's responsibility to ensure that a copy of all receipts, charges and itineraries are obtained and submitted. Select Holidays strongly suggests that a travel insurance policy is purchased for all travel.

Deposit/Payments:

Each tour outlines deposit amounts and dates required. Only a deposit will hold your reservation and is due at time of making the reservation. If upgrades airfare is requested (Economy Plus or Business Class), an additional payment will be required at that time of confirmation of these flights.

Final Payment:

Final payment is due to Select Holidays 90 days prior to departure or as indicated by tour rules and regulations of each tour. Payment not received by deadline dates of that tour, may result in the traveler's reservation being canceled and booking penalties assessed against the traveler.

If cancellation is made by Select Holidays any time prior to the departure date, except when a customer fails to pay the final balance on time, Select Holidays, at its sole discretion, will offer a comparable departure on an alternate date, or reserves the right to offer only a future travel credit.

Late Reservations & Changes:

As late reservations need special administrative attention, bookings made within 30 days of departure require FULL payment before the process of requesting rooms and tour space begins. If we are unable to confirm the request, a full refund will be made. If a booking is cancelled once the tour has been confirmed, cancellation penalties apply. To offset administrative costs incurred by late changes, a fee of an additional $250.00 per passenger will be charged for late reservations, changes in departure date and itinerary or a passenger's name, once travel documents have been printed. The above fee is in addition to any fees that may be charged by travel vendor.

Cancellation Fee:

91 days or prior to departure date: ALL payments paid up to this point are 100% non-refundable;
90 days – 0 days prior to departure: 100% non-refundable, including air & government taxes.

Travelers shall not and will not be entitled to any refund from Select Holidays for any portion of the trip not taken or used, regardless of any reasoning given.

prescriptions:

It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that all essential and prescribed medications are filled and packed for the appropriate length of your travel journey. Please ensure that the medications are in their proper prescribed bottle with the prescription label clearly labelled. It is a good idea to also bring an extra set of medical device accessories if applicable, such as hearing aid batteries, eyeglasses, contact lenses & solution etc. It is best to create a medication list that includes your doctors name and contact information. If possible, bring copies of prescriptions with you (including eyeglasses prescriptions). Please ensure that these medications/devices are packed in your carry-on baggage during travel. Remember, it is better to bring it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Required Vaccinations & Recommended Medications for International Travel:

Some countries have mandatory vaccination requirements. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure that all proper documentation is brought for proof of vaccinations. It is also the traveller’s responsibility to ensure that these requirements are checked and followed prior to departure. Some countries have recommended medication advisories such as malaria pills or typhoid pills. These should be prescribed by a travel clinic professional or family practitioner. Please check the local travel advisories in the countries of travel to see what is recommended.

Itineraries, Tourist Visas & Tickets:

It is the traveler’s responsibility to bring all required travel documents and identification. It is also the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that passports are current and within the allowed entry allowance for the countries visited on their trip. If a tourist visa is required, it is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain this visa, or purchase the visa upon arrival. It is a good idea to take a photocopy of your passport & travel documents in case of emergency. It is also a good idea to forward a copy of your itinerary to a loved one back home.

Local Currency & Credit Card:

Please ensure that you carry a small amount of local currency in cash. This can be obtained at your bank before travel (please allow a few weeks for foreign currency to be ordered at your local bank) or at the airport at the currency exchange desk. A variety of small and larger bills is best, to allow for tipping & any other items needed during travel. It is best to inform your credit card provider(s) of upcoming international travel. A reminder that charges made on your card may be charged in the local currency and are subject to the exchange rate based on your card.

travelers responsibility:

It is each guests responsibility to only travel if they are feeling well. If at any time during their travels, they become ill, they may be asked to leave a departure, either voluntary or non-voluntary. Any and/or all additional expenses that may occur, are the sole responsibility of the traveler and not Select Holidays. We strongly recommend travel insurance or purchase protection to cover these situations. This includes illness related to current and/or any future health/medical situations and/or world situations related directly or indirectly to travel.
