Places I have traveled to: Australia, New Zealand, Western to Eastern Europe, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Florida, California, Hawaii, Texas, Las Vegas, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and many of the Western Caribbean Countries. Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California;
Cruises: many cruises with Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Lines to the Western Caribbean visiting Key West, Grand Cayman, Belize City, Jamaica, Labadee (Royal Caribbean Private Port), Castaway Cay (Disney’s Private Island), Roatan, Costa Maya, Progresso and Cozumel.
Then 5 years ago I found River Cruising! Best way to see Europe, unpack once and have your accommodations move with you. You also have spectacular views all time. Since then, I have taken a river cruise each year: First river cruise, spring 2005 -Tulip Time Cruise through Holland; 2006 Rhine River; 2007 Budapest to Prague; 2008 Paris to Prague; May 2009 Bucharest to Vienna, amazing. Favorite Trip/Destination & Why: Family Trip: Caribbean Cruise on Freedom of the Seas then a week in Orlando at Disney-The ship had everything for every age. Our children especially enjoyed the water park and the Flowrider on board!
Adult Trip: River Cruising Europe – Rhine & Moselle Rivers~nothing so far beats floating down the rivers of the Moselle and Rhine looking at the beautiful vineyards and castles. Europe has such charm about it and it really is a great place to visit. Very hard to pick just one place I enjoyed the most!
Favorite Activities: Hiking, swimming and camping. Who knows maybe someday I will do some cycling tours in Europe.
Favorite Food: I love my Alberta Beef! I enjoy a good steak done on the BBQ!
Community Involvement: Outside of travelling, I love being a mom and supporting our children in their activities. I am the Treasurer of our local Ducks Unlimited Committee.
About me:
I have a great family who allows me enjoy my passion of travel with or without them. In 2004 I graduated from the Medicine Hat College’s Travel Counsellor Course with honours. Ever since, I have enjoyed helping individuals, couples and families book their holidays, getaways and adventures. I have worked for ITS Travel & Cruises since 2006 from my home office in Sylvan Lake. Working from my home gives me the flexibility to work with my clients when it is convenient for them. I also am very fortunate to travel with my mom whom I have learned to love travel from. We have travelled all over the world together.
